Eleneth Escalona, principal of the school, said the teachers had a hard time accessing internet signals and cell data since they were in a remote area.
Escalona, meanwhile, thanked the teachers for finding a way to resume their jobs.

According to Bernadette Reyes of GMA News, the teachers were from St. Niño National High School.

On Monday morning, Education Secretary Leonor Briones officially opened the school year, claiming victory over COVID-19 as it could not stop teaching.
