Social and Emotional Learning
Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process of understanding and managing emotions, setting and achieving positive goals, feeling and showing empathy for others, establishing and maintaining positive relationships and making responsible decisions.
Social and emotional learning implies opportunities for students to learn and practice social skills, such as:
-To recognize and to manage one’s own feelings.
Supporting our student’s social and emotional well-being is also crucial for their academic success. We can’t expect students to comprehend well when they are distracted.
Join our webinar tomorrow live on YouTube and learn the ways parents and teachers can extend social-emotional learning (SEL) at home.
